These products should not be confused with medications intended for human use. Products sold outside legitimate medical and pharmacy channels may not have the same assurances regarding identity, potency, purity, sterility, storage or handling.
This becomes especially important with injectable products.
What does “research peptide” actually mean?
You may see websites selling vials labeled “for research use only” or “not for human consumption.” Those labels matter. These products are being marketed for laboratory research—not as medications approved for people to inject or use themselves.
A professional-looking website, third-party testing claim or certificate of analysis does not by itself establish that a product is appropriate or safe for human use.
Before starting peptide therapy, you should know what you're receiving, where it came from, how it was prepared and whether it was actually intended for human use.
